Why cant i make my pc play "local files" from my phone

I have saved a few "local songs" in my playlists, and they have synced from my pc to my phone. But i cant use my phone to make the pc play the "local songs". I want to do this because my pc is connected to my stereo, and when i am home i dont fancy running around with ear plugs 🙂

I'm having the same problem and I can't find any relevant info. Most of all the help I've been able to find references a device syncing configuration setting that no longer exists in the current version of spotify. =/

Yeah, it's strange why would they remove the syncing config?
