Why isn't my album art loading on Mac?

Why isn't spotify's custom 4 square album art loading.  It's just a black picture of music notes.  When I open the playlist on my phone, the 4 square album art is there but, when I open it on my Macbook Air, it's the boring music notes.  How do I fix this to make my album cover on my mac look nice again?

Try Logging out and logging back in if that doesn't work try restarting the application.

i tried both logging in and out, restarting the app, and unistalling and reinstalling, it still didn't work!!!!!
