home screen not showing music feed or podcasts

i went to go try out the ai dj since i have premium and i just noticed my home tan doesn’t have a music or podcasts tab what’s up with this ??

Same, it is now in April and I still do not have the AI DJ feature on Spotify. Is there any reason this is not on my specific account? The other accounts in my family plan have the feature and we are on the same IOS update (16.4) with the same Spotify version. The other accounts are at least a year old but mine is just a few months. Is the AI DJ feature only for older accounts?  The Spotify home page looks identical to the other screenshot in this thread but different albums. There is still no music or podcast feed buttons that are used to get to the AI DJ. Please help.

At least I'm not the only one, hope we get this resolved soon.

I just installed spotify premium and my home tab does not have the music or podcast tabs. I tried a number of tips from this thread (logging off twice, clean uninstall) and I'm still unable to get the tabs to show up.

Have you fixed the problem ?

This issue was reported as fixed before. However, as it is still persistent for some of you, we'll need to keep investigating.

 

Please include in your next response the following information:

 

- Make, model and OS version of your device

- Spotify version currently installed

- Troubleshooting steps tried so far

- Screenshot of the missing option

-I am using a Galaxy s21 5g phone running on Android 13.0 OS
- Version of Spotify : 8.8.28.409
- I have logged out and back of the application twice as suggested, also performed a clean uninstall/reinstall of the Spotify app
- see screenshot of home screen without music/podcast tabs

Im using an iPhone 11 running ios16 on the latest spotify version (8.8.30)

I have tried logging in and out, reinstalling the app and restarting my phone- in every combination imaginable. 

Here is a screenshot of the missing music and podcasts tabs.

Have there been any updates in fixing the issue myself and other users are still having?

Just to confirm, is anyone still experiencing this behavior? If yes, please let us know. Make sure to include in your reply the make/model and OS of the affected device and the exact Spotify version you're running there. A screenshot will come in handy as well.

 

If not, it'll help us a lot if you let us know as well 🙂

Yes, I am having this problem. It's frustrating. I recently created a new account to join Premium Family after having been a Premium member for many years, and the new account, although located in the US like the old one, has no "Music" feed and no DJ card. The original account has the DJ feature.

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared. 

 

A new version of the app should be available. Would you mind trying to update the app on the affected device to check if you notice any difference?


If you notice this is still happening after updating the app, please send us the new Spotify version you should be running and the exact OS version of your mobile device.

Yes, I just updated and find no change. Spotify v. 8.8.48.499 / iOS 16.5.1

Correction: I do now find DJ under Search > Made For You. It does not appear via the "My Music" tab on the main-screen navigation as described in this thread. I still have no "My Music." No matter.

Do you know when it will roll out to Turkey?

Currently, this feature is only available in the US, Canada, Ireland, and the UK. And we don't have any info about when it’ll be available elsewhere.

 

However, we understand you’d like to have the DJ soon. We always aim to improve, so we’ll get this passed on to the right team. For any updates and news about upcoming releases, you can keep an eye out on our Newsroom

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Could you let us know if anything changed in these last weeks? We've just checked on our end and it should show in the Music view.

 

If you still can't see it there, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

 

Additionally, could you let us know the exact operating system and Spotify version of your device?

I also have the same issue.  I notice that in over a year Spotify still either refuse or lacks the technical skills to fix this.  Maybe it's time to find a music service without all the glitches.

This is a sign that the company is preparing to shut down. As they keep begging people to give a thumbs up to advise that does not work.
