i cant connect my spotify to my last.fm

ive tried consistently for a few days now to connect my spotify account to my last.fm account, but it doesnt let me. i get an error and tells me to look at the help page but i cant find anything. ive tried turning my private relay off as well, and nothing is working. is it an issue with spotify or last.fm?

for some reason it worked when i did it through the discord browser bit on my phone? id tried on both my home internet and my sisters which didnt work, but for some reason worked when it was linked in discord. thank you for your help though!! :))

You did not mention where you tried to connect both accounts. The usual place is in your connected Last.fm apps:

Applications Settings | Last.fm

For iOS users this is also the only way to scrobble Spotify, as there are no external scrobbling apps like on Android or for Spotify web player users.

want to connect the web version to last.fm to track web instead of the app how to do this?
