iOS app doesn't see changes without quitting and restarting

Seems like I encountered another bug in 8.4.0.

The app doesn't seem to register changes made elsewhere (desktop) anymore. I constantly batch-change songs on desktop and these changes aren't reflected in the iOS app, even while the app is open and sees that Spotify is playing on the desktop.

I have to quit the iOS app (swiping up in app switcher) and restart it. Only then the changes are seen.

I'm really concerned about the state the iOS app has been in the last 4 months and hope this will take a turn for the better.
