iPad 1 iOS 5.1.1 - Spotify no longer loads

Hi,

I've seen numerous complaints about this but cant find a solution - please help.

I have deleted and reinstalled Spotify on my Ipad 5.1.1 numerous times and although it proposes to offer me an earlier version which is compatible to my Ipad it starts with the icons down the left side but wont open/ load properly.

Can you please provide a step by step, simple solution for this urgently?

Can you try power cycling your iPad by holding the home and lock buttons together until the Apple logo appears on screen and see if you get the same issue after?

What causes it to do that? Appreciate your help.

I suspect it is something to do with memory usage as a reboot would clear out the device RAM but it's hard to tell!
