iPad and iPhone streaming stops after each song.

Why is it that my streaming of an album or a playlist now all of a suddens stops playing after each song? It didn't do so to begin with bu now I have to push 'play' after each and every song, in order to continue listening to the album or the playlist. It doesn't do so when I listen from Spotify on the desktop. 

I have a Premium subscription. 

What to do?

Have you tried switching to a different streaming quality at all?

Spotify app » Settings » Stream

If it is set to "High quality", try out "Low bandwidth" (or the other way around).

Once you have played a few tracks, you can then change the setting back again. It may sort it.
