[iPhone 5] Spotify says 'No Internet Connection' with full service on mobile.

Spotify keeps giving the error of "No internect connection" or "Spotify is offline" even when I have plenty of cell signal (4G/LTE). I have a Premium subscription in the US on an iPhone 5 (OS 11.3.1). This has been happening for a number of weeks and is very frustrating since I am paying for Spotify and exclusively use it on my phone. Please advise of how to fix.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.


Could you check if the Mobile Data is enabled for Spotify and that it isn't set to Offline Mode?

Also, which iPhone do you have, the 5, which can go up to iOS 10.3.3, or the 5s, which currently supports iOS 12.2?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
