iPhone+Spotify+my car always results in fast, skipping

My Question or Issue

When my iPhone is attached to my car via Bluetooth, Spotify always has problems. It sounds like fast forward/skipping and it continues even if I delete/reinstall the app. 

My iPhone has no problems using Spotify with other Bluetooth items in my life, including headphones, speakers, etc. When my husband’s Samsung uses Bluetooth to attach to my car, it functions perfectly. 

So it’s only my phone when it’s with my car.
