iPhone error: "Cannot find Spotify network" (various DNS errors)

Running Spotify 0.5.1.74gbdf7fe51 (smaller font 0.8.2.902.g860e3c5f) on iPhone 4.  It stopped working on offline mode a couple days ago, saying that it hadn't been online in 30 days.  When I try to get it to go online, I get a "Connecting" (in perpetuity) and an error notification saying it can't find the spotify network, and then it cycles thru a bunch of different DNS errors in the following minutes:  C6: 4070, C8: 443, C4: 443, [many more].  Yet the phone receives emails just fine.  Help, please!

-- from what I see in the other forums, shutting down and/or reloading Spotify doesn't usually cure this issue.

Actually, I had to help a friend with this problem not too long ago.  Did you restart the phone in between uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
