iPhone not showing music when locked

I’ve tried everything to sort this out from following tips and tricks on the internet, deleting the app, making sure all the settings are correct and nothing is working! Everything settings wise on my phone and Spotify is correct so I don’t understand why I can’t see anything when my phone is locked and playing music?

We understand that you've already uninstalled the app, but just to be on the same page, did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in  this article? This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

Also, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. This will give us a better look at the issue.
