install on iOS 4.2.1 (iPhone 3G) ?

I have a premium account and just change my phone for an iPhone 3G ( :'( ) ... and what a bad surprise : your iPhone app is not compatible with IOS 4.2.1

How can i do to install it on my "old" iPhone (old ? only 2 or 3 years ...)

i just tried from my end for iphone 3g

what i did was, i open safari and google for spotify

among the results, i choose download (https://www.spotify.com/download/

then it will direct you to app store and enter apple id password to begin download

now i have spotify in my iphone 3g

I have iPhone 3GS and I had to update my iOS before I could install Spotify. I'm running iOS 6.1.6 now and have Spotify installed.

I did what everyone saids here but when i try to install the app it appears a message that i need iOS 7 or later.

My iPhone 3G doesn't support iOS 7.

if you find the app and then go on related apps, there is a version for ios6, also made by spotify. it doesn't recieve updates apparently though. should work for 3g

It worked!!I had to download it 3 times before it finally took to my home screen and downloaded properly. It sent me a weird pop-up saying to download Spotify iOS4 to continue getting updates, but unfortunately it's not available in Canada. Of course, right?
