listening history not loading

listening history not loading

when trying to view my listening history on ios (iphone 13, ios 18.3.2, spotify version 9.0.26.607), it gives me the error "something went wrong / have another go?" with a reload button. pressing the reload button does nothing, the screen stays the same. I have tried updating and reinstalling the app, and still nothing changes.

Welcome to the Spotify Community and kudos for the troubleshooting done ๐Ÿ‘

 

The Listening history feature has been updated to a more elaborate version called Recents. What I'd recommend next is logging out and signing back in twice in a row - this will force a resync of the app which might help here.

 

It's also worth testing if everything looks good on another account: you can ask someone (a friend or a relative would do) to log in to their account on your device to check if the feature would load then. You can also try using another device to see if you'd have Recents there.
