local files not appearing on iphone

ive been trying to get my local files from my pc to connect to my iphone. i have done this before with relative ease, but now it is is fighting me tooth and nail for no reason. ive tried everything i can find, uninstall and reinstall, turning on wifi connections on the apple settings for spotify, turning everything off and on again, and i followed spoify's instructions on how to connect local files to my phone. something to note is that when i leave wifi and try and download the playlist with all the local file songs, it gives me the download icon, only greyed out. this does not happen when i'm on wifi, and yes, i am on the same wifi as my computer.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Currently there is no option to sync the local files from one device to another. You have to have the files physically present on the device you want to play them on. Check out this FAQ on the subject.
