make iPad always visible for Spotify connect

Hello,

My iPad is always connected to my old stereo and therefore if I want to listen to Spotify at home, I would want to use my iPhone or my macMini to connect to the iPad and play music through it (as its connected with the stereo). Unfortunately, the iPad never shows up in Spotify. Hence, I have to manually go to the iPad and open up the Spotify app and start a playlist. Then I can control the music with my other devices. Yet, five seconds after hitting the pause button, the iPad isn't visible anymore, which is very unfortunate as I have to head to the iPad again and open up Spotify again. Is there any solution regarding this issue? If necessary, all devices (iPad Air 4, MacMini M1, iPhone 12) do have the latest versions of their OS and Spotify.

The behavior you mention is expected due to a number of factors such as the OS, factory settings and limitations from certain devices. However, we can see how that would be a handy feature and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. Hopefully you'll see if it gets improved but we can't guarantee when or if this will be taken into consideration.
