please help: none of my songs will play on my iPhone!

When I press play on a song it looks as though it's about to play (shows the pause button) but there's no sound and the time of the song does not change. I have tried deleting the app and re installing but that doesn't help. I'm signed up for premium so would be very grateful if someone can help me out coz I'm paying for a service that doesn't work 😞
