saved songs dont appear in library when offline - but are reachable through search

so lately ive noticed, that whenever i go offline for se time all of my music will dissapear from my library, only showing a card telling me to download somgs whenever i go back online.
So you'd assume the app simply didnt download the music...but when i look for the said saved music in the seach bar, it appears and can be played.
So if the data is clearly saved on my device, why doesnt it appear in my library

If you are on a mobile device, make sure you turn on the "Available Offline" button which will then allow you to download the songs, making them available offline.
