spotify didn't back up my ipod files

So I'm just complaining here, but Spotify said it would back up my iPod files to my computer, except it didn't.  It created the new folder I wanted, but no files inside it.  There was music on there I won't get back, won't find anywhere, neat bootlegs I no longer possess.  AND it won't allow me to sync my local files to my iPhone.  I honestly don't know why the hell I'm paying for this and am strongly considering terminating my subscription.  Honestly the idea of having a "community" based customer-support system has always just seemed so cheap to me, I AM A PAYING FREAKING CUSTOMER IT IS NOT MY JOB TO FIGURE OUT WTF IS WRONG WITH YOUR PROGRAM.
