spotify stops playing after about 1 hour on ipod touch

I have spotify premium and use an ipod touch. I mainly use it in a dock in my daughter's bedroom to play nursery rhymes. I noticed that the playlist, which was set to repeat, was spontaneously stopping after about one hour. Thinking that this could have been a problem with the repeat function, I set the playlist to shuffle. The same problem occurred. Finally, I made a new playlist out of the same songs, but made the playlist last 19 hours (random figure), by selecting the same songs multiple times. Same problem with the music stopping after about one hour.

I have made sure that the ipod is the only device using spotify, and have tried it in both offline and online modes. I used to have a netbook playing in her room (which sounded awful!) and never had any of these problems.

Please help!

I have this same issue; I also use Spotify to sleep to, and have premium. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, playing in offline mode on my ipod touch 4g. Help please.
