syncing playlists to my new ipad

I have just bought a new ipad and downloaded the spotofy app which i already have on my iphone and laptop. I currently use spotify premium. 

The app on my ipad allows me to log into my spotify account however it doesnt show any of my playlists and when i have tried to connect it to connect it to my laptop it doesn't show up under 'devices'.

Can anyone give me some advice so that I don't have to set up all new playlists?

You should definitely be able to see your playlists, are you definitely sure you logged in using the same details? Its amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another via Facebook.
