the download option for songs is not on every song. Just some it seems.

Typically, once you press the download button on any given playlist, this should affect all songs within that playlist.
Could you send us a screenshot of an example song you cannot download? We'd love to take a look into this for you 🙂

As a starting troubleshooting step, you can also try removing your app's cached data.
