I have recently started using Spotify (Premium Family) on my iPad, android cellphone and now on my 4G iPod Touch. Everything works really well on the first two devices, but I am having lots of problems with the iPod touch.
The iPod touch runs iOS 6.1.6 (it can't be updated to iOS 7), which hasn't been supported by Spotify since March 2015, so it uses version 1.8.1.8 of Spotify. I normally use this device in my car (that has a 30 pin connector in the glovebox) with itunes but thought it would make sense to listen to my new Spotify playlists and songs that I have in my other devices, but alas I have come across lots of problems and was hoping someone else had found a workaround for my main gripe.
As this device is in my car, it makes sense for it to be offline, however there is no way to see my playlists (when I am connected I can only see them under my profile rather than in "Your Music" Playlists). I can create a new playlist and add songs to it, but if I want to update my songs (which requires me to logoff and logon again with Wi-Fi) then I lose all the playlists.
Obviously this is really frustrating, so I was hoping someone might have found a way of sorting this out.
