Spotify - Music Flow not supported by LG sound bar?

Hello,

I purchased the LG 4.1 360w sound bar today and downloaded the recommended Music Flow app onto my Samsung Galaxy Note 4...

I'm connected to the speaker via 5ghz wifi on my Asus AC RT1900.

From the Music Flow App. I choose Spotify to stream my music but it only plays on the phones speaker. I tried streaming music to the speaker on Tune-in radio and it works just fine.

I went onto the LG website and the LG forums and it is apparent with a little bit of digging in the forums that the sound bar that I have is in fact supported by Spotify.

So am I doing something wrong?

Please help!
