Hi there!
Subject sounds strange, but that's how it is.
I have a Premium account and a playlist with about 1.500 songs for Offline usage on my Android phone / HTC. There are no errors with the playback until the point where Spotify has to play a song from MIKE NESS or SOCIAL DISTORTION. In that case, any played song of mentioned bands causes the whole playback to mess up.
In some cases, the MN / SD song starts, the time counter is running, but there is no sound, although no changes have been made to the volume.
In some cases, the next song after a MN / SD song is played, but I hear nothing, meaning the seconds in the time bar are running, but I hear nothing, although the volume hasn't changed. Adjusting the volume higher and/or lower doesn't change anything.
In some very rare cases (regarding older Albums of MN / SD) the whole playback thing is 100 percent normally.
In some cases where Spotify manages to skip to the next track, the next track is also muted and I have to click "Pause" and then "Play" again to make it work again for the next song. (I don't have to mentioned how annoying this is while jogging.)
In some cases, I have to quit Spotify and even then it has huge problems to get back on track.
To describe it short: Ridiculously randomness at it's finest.
I already tried:
- Deleting all MN / SD songs and letting Spotify re-download it
- Deleting the whole offline playlist and having Spotify redownload it in higher quality
- Deactivating Gapless play
- Going offline
- Deactivating Crossfading
- This problem does not appear when I listen to it on my Desktop.
There is absolutely no problem with the remaining 1.500 tracks, but as soon as I add a song from MN / SD, randomness kicks in big time.
So... any ideas?
