I have the Mac OSX application for Spotify and used the import playlist function to get the itunes playlists to show up in Spotify. I am running into the problem where spotify is not recognizing songs from these playlists that are obviously available within the spotify system. I think that this is most likely an issue with Metadata although all of the music was originally ripped directly from CD's. I even tried a third party service (Ivy) to get spotify to recognize these tracks by exporting the itunes playlist to excel then copy and pasting into Ivy to see if spotify would recognize these songs at that point. I still am finding that spotify cannot match the songs and artists from my Itunes playlist to the songs and artists on the spotify platform. Ideas are appreciated!
