So I'm listening to a Radio, a song comes up that I want to add to a playlist, I click on teh album art and select add to playlist select the playlist then BAM music stops, dissapears. I'm rocking a W7 with plenty of memory (8core) NO reason for it to crash.
Also went to play Que to add the song Still crashes
If you can help it would be appreciated cause I'm getting angry.

Solved! Go to Solution.
The issue has not been fixed yet. I am running Spotify on Mac OSX and I can only delete 1 song from a playlist without any problems. The next delete crashes Spotify. Extremely frustrating!!!
I spoke too soon, Three hours into my morning it has started again. Grrrrr.
While I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem, it is simply unacceptable that Spotify has not fixed this yet. It's been a week.
Description
When I try to add a track to a playlist directly from radio Spotify crashes
A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Listening to a radio station and a song I want to add to a playlist is on
2. I click on the song name in the radio window and drag it to the playlist I want to add it to
3. I drop it on the playlist and Spotify crashed
4. I re-opened spotify
5. The song is in the playlist, and the song I was listening to picks up where it left off, but radio doesn't recognize it was playing
What I expected to happen
I would drag the title of the song to the playlist and it would be added to the playlist
What actually happened
I dragged the title of the song to the playlist and spotify crashed.

Have the same problem: Sometimes it crashes, sometimes not. I'm pressing delete button and crahs. Version 0.9.1.57.ge7405149, windows 8 64-bit.
Hi. I was the second poster on page 1... already gave my specs. However, and I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, I have noticed that it only happens when I am trying to add a song that I'm *not* listening to at the moment. (Sometimes as I'm listening to an album I will decide to add a song after I've already moved on to another song.)
Crashes on me when I try to add a song I am listening to. The best solution I have found so far is to just "star" the song. Once spotify fixes the issue, I can add the "starred" songs to the correct playlist.
I am having the same issues.
Windows 8, Version 0.9.1.57. When I add or delete a track from a playlist the client will crash. It doesn't happen all the time, but it has happened quite often today. I have been listening to Playlist Radio, and adding tracks to the playlist when I like them. Most of the time, the client will crash after I right click the track in the Play Queue and click add to the playlist. It will also randomly crash if I delete a song from the playlist.
If I try to add a track to the playlist and the client crashes, the track does not show in the playlist when I restart the client. Typically I can right click and add the track to the playlist once I have restarted the client.
Hope this helps!
Mac OS X 10.8.5 , Spotify 0.9.1.57 , same issue as others described. I add a song, sometimes multiple songs , to a playlist and the app crashes. 😞
I am experiancing the same problem. Everytime i drag a song to a playlist the program will crash. : (
Dear Spotify.
I hope you guys are reading this. If it is not fixed in one week, I am unsubscribing.
Same issue. It appears it's time to fix the issue and release a new version of Spotify - or it's Rdio time.
Same problem here!
I'm running Spotify 0.9.1.57 on Windows XP 64-bit and I'm getting the same issue. Spotify crashes often when I add tracks to a playlist or remove tracks from a playlist. I believe it started happening when I upgraded to this latest version of Spotify.
Hello!
I have the same problem, been like this for over 2 months now .. about time you guys fix it!
I also have this problem, since about a week... Spotify on Windows 7.

So which one is the better alternative, Rdio or Google Play Music All Access? I think pricing is consistent but which service is better? I love Spotify, but if it's going to take them over a week to fix a major bug affecting all users, I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer another service.
I have the same issue on my Macbook Pro. The app crashes at least two or three times a day when I drag and drop a song into a playlist. 😞
Just want to say, I'm having this problem on my iMac as well, and when I went to click the "me too" button I couldn't? But I've been able to restart and add the same song that made the program crash originally.
