Why is iMac history still so limited?

For so long now, and Spotify still has not improved this.I can only see the last 50 songs on my iMac. But iPhone shows 3 MONTHS worth! Why is there such a big difference, and why hasn't it been improved in all this time?

Why is queue button not visible on my iPhonexr screen
