Missing playlists and unlimited account

Missing playlists and unlimited account

Hi,

 

A couple of weeks ago I decided to stop my Spotify from showing what I was listening to and all of a sudden my whole account seems to have been replaced by a new one. All the playlists are gone and although I pay for an unlimited plan it's now set on free mode. I've tried everything you suggest on the forum and nothing works. I also wrote one of those contact forms but never got a reply which is pretty disappointing. I really hope someone out there can help me out or I will just have to go and cancel my account. I really love this service and it'd be a shame but paying for not having it would be just stupid. Please at least let me know a person has actually read my complaint!!!

Hey 🙂 

 

It sounds like you have accidentally created a duplicate account, which is on the free plan. 

You just need to log into your original account details, there are some instructions here I would suggest you give a go.

Thanks a lot for the info! I actually had seen this one before and followed those instructions but unfortunately that didn't work either. It seems that both my Spotify and Facebook logins go to the same free account so it's just impossible to go back to the way it was before. I guess if I could delete the account the other one should turn up because actually my friends can still see my original account which is even weirder though I'm glad cause that means my playlists aren't gone.

 

Thanks a lot for the help anyway, I think my only way out is through someone from tech support in Spotify although it seems impossible to get some attention from them.

You can get in touch with them directly using the online contact form.

If you get an automated email reply directing you to the community, just reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and an agent should get back to you within 48-hours 😉

Yeah, I'll try that. I already sent them a complaint using the form but never heard back from them, though I havent tried replying to the automated email.
