3rd time my account gets hacked

Hi,

It's the 8th time my account gets hacked. I notice this because the songs change randomly to ridiculous ones, my playlists get erased etc. I am tired of changing my password. Can anyone explain me why this keeps happening. Is the only online service where I've been hacked and keep being. I am only a mac&iphone user. Really things like this make me want to go to apple music

Hey @psikonetik,

First, check that your email address is correct in your profile page (not been altered by someone else).

The best course of action when something like that happens is to create a new account with a different email address from the one you're using (Tip: don't use the one you use for Facebook). That will give you a different Spotify username of your choice.

Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges, library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

and make sure your e-mail account hasn't been hacked as well 😉

(check login history etc.)

using password reset is an easy way to regain access to your Spotify account

and last but not least (first if all though)

make sure your playlist aren't shared/that other people can't edit your playlists

because that is possible

(maybe one of your friends is doing it with his/her account)
