API revenue opportunities

I'm currently building a music sharing app for iOS that utilizes LibSpotify in order to pull from their music database.  Considering that in order to access Spotify via a mobile device a user is required to have a Premium subscription, is there a way that we can set up a referral-based commission system with you guys so that if we link someone to you and they subscribe, then we get a commission on that sign-up? 

Secondly, are we allowed to advertise on our app or is that disallowed by building from spotify's API? My understanding was that it's okay so long as we're not an actual Spotify app on the desktop.

The answers to these are referred to within the Terms of Use of libspotify. As you're in the US, your terms of use can be found here. (If anyone outside the US is reading, click this way).

In terms of revenue, the Terms of using libspotify state that you may not sell the application, nor derive income from the Users use of the application, such as through advertising.
