Account not displaying real name despite being connected to Facebook

Hi all, 

I just created a new account and I connected my Facebook account to it. However, on all platforms (app, web player, and desktop app on Windows), it still displays my username instead of my real name. Any help would be appreciated, as I really would like to add friends with my real name and have it displayed.

In addition, when I go on the desktop app and go to the Facebook connection section, it displays my username instead of my actual name next to my profile picture.

I do have premium and have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Facebook account. I've previously connected the same Facebook account to a different Spotify account before (I have disconnected Facebook from that other account already though), so I'm not sure if that's a contributing factor.

Hey @MerAhri!

Sounds like you might have opted out of sharing your data with Facebook. You can check this on your account page here.
You should also make sure that on Facebook's end here, Spotify has to be allowed to have access to personal data.
