Account visibility

Hi! 

I made an account with only account instead of Facebook. 
But how come my account isn't visible to other users? They can't find me in the search box although my account is actually linked with Facebook for the moment.

Is this just because I chose for the only account option? Isn't there a way my account can be found through Facebook because it is actually linked?
