Accusations of impropriety

Accusations of impropriety

My account was disabled and I was emailed that I am illegally copying data out of Spotify. I have no idea what this means, how one would do this or why Spotify thinks I did this.

 

Spotify reactivated my account once I promised to never do this again but threatened to ban me if I do it again.

 

But.... I have no idea what this means and I am pretty certain I did nothing of the sort. I tried to talk to customer support but they refuse to help.

 

How can I find out what is going on before I get completely banned for something I am unaware of in the first place?

Hope you're doing great!

 

Maybe you used some third party tool/website and that may be causing a flag on your account that lead to this.

Could you remove any apps you don't use from this page on your account?

In that case it's best you reach out to the folks over at Customer Support, so they can take a closer look and provide you with more insight on the matter as they have access to the necessary tools.
