Add new family members without email account

Hello, I had Premium and now switched to Family to be able to listen to Spotify on different platforms at the same time. I'm logged in on 2 Iphone and 2 Ipad and 1 computer with Premium all under the same user name. How can I switched them all under our family plan without sending an email or a link? I don't have any email access on these devices since my children are using them? Do I absolutely have to download an email app to be able to switch them to the family plan? Thank you for your help

Hey @ctheberge,

 

All members of a Premium for Family plan will need to have their own Spotify account and and all Spotify accounts need to have their own email address so unfortunately you can't get around this.

 

You can invite family members by following the instructions from this page: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/premium_for_family/premium-for-family/

But most email services have a minimum age. Surely there's a way to have a real FAMILY plan. This does not solve the problem. Why no 'dislike' button?

 

It's a real problem for people with young family members who would like to use the service. 

My wife has an email and I've sent her numerous invites and she has yet to receive anything from spotify it still says request sent. Any thoughts on that.?

 This doesn’t help us. I’m not gonna give my kids email address just so they can sign up for the Spotify account that we pay extra for. Please fix this ridiculous set up.
