My Question or Issue

Received several Spotify emails stating someone from another country is accessing account. Not sure if spam, so tired to reset password. No password reset email received. I've tried three times plus signed out of all accounts. Can this be fixed without having to delete my account?

I understand your concern about this. No worries though, I'll be here to help you out.

If you think the emails you're getting might be sent from a non-official or a malicious email address, I'd recommend checking out this Support article for the next steps to take.

However, it also sounds someone else may have gained access to your Spotify account. I'd recommend checking out this Support article for the next steps to take.

Hi Jose,

 

I've managed to reset my password as the reset email was received this morning. It turns out that the email was an official Spotify one as someone had accessed my account. I've changed the password and logged out of all accounts associated with the family account. No further unauthorised account access emails have been received so hopefully worked, thanks.
