Another Facebook Question

I have deactivated my facebook and used to sign into spotify just fine without reactivating my facebook account.  Suddenly I can't do that.  I have a paid subscription and don't want to lose the month I've already paid for if I start another spotify account.  What do I do?  My current facebook must be deactivated.

This isn't actually possible, however you should use the Support Form to ask the customer services team and see what they say - it does say that no refunds will be given in the terms however 🙂

Hi! Welcome to the community! I'm sorry to hear that you can't log in into your account. Have you tried logging in with your username? Let me know if this works for you.

How did you create your account originally - did you make a separate Spotify account or did you just sign up with Facebook? If you have a spotify account, log in with your spotify username and password and click "Disconnect from Facebook" on preferences. Then you won't have to deal with Facebook again.

 

If you signed up with Facebook, the only way to do it is to make a new account.

Yeah...I tried that.  None of the passwords work and when I hit forgot password it tells me I use Facebook to login.  I tried what other posts said about unlinking facebook in preferences...but I don't even have that option.  I don't mind making another account.  I mean its a pain to get new playlists, but I don't want to lose the month I've already paid for.

You can find your username here. If it's a bunch of numbers, you've created your account through Facebook and you have to make a new account to disconnect from FB.
