Hi,

I filled the form about 2 weeks to get an App Key here (https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/libspotify/application-keys/).

I have the feeling that i'm doing it wrong ou missing something because the only return I had was the copy of the form send to my email account.

For information, it's to setup a spotify-connect-web-server on a Raspberry Pi with OSMC.

I would like to know how and when I would be able to recover the key :).

Sorry for taking that long to get back! You should check out this article here, it's relevant to your issue. Since I haven't come across a similar question in the community, it should explain it better. Make sure to read the notices since it explains why it's a bit difficult to know the estimated timeline for this process 🙂

@KatesHere -- I recently inherited a piece of technology that required a libspotify API key (and, of course, no trace of the API key used to build the damned thing) for a desktop prototype I’m working on (this is nowhere near iOS or Android ready just yet). I submitted the Google form just like the previous respondents and wondered if you could help me get a key so I don’t have to start my project completely from scratch!

I'm not sure if there is an exact timeframe for a response, so let me escalate this backstage and get back 🙂 Keep in mind that LibSpotify and CocoalibSpotify are considered deprecated. If you want to, you can check about it here (LibSpotify FAQ) and here (LibSpotify SDK).

You can use this form to apply to get an AppKey for private use here. If you have already, then you've reached the right team so keep an eye out as there's no exact timeframe for a reply. Hopefully, you'll get a reply soon 🙂
