I pay for premium, yet to use the aps I have to log on with FB or twitter... how **bleep** is that.

Eg. Trying to add some tracks to a 'Soundrop room' and it says I have to log in. Well hang on there, I log in when I click start up, why do I have to log into FB or twitter as well to access and use these apps to their full potential?

Spotify apps are developed by 3rd parties (not by Spotify) and therefore require an alternative login. The main reason for this being, Spotify applications do not have access to authenticate via Spotify accounts. There is an ideas topic discussing this here.
