Artist Verification Issue

Hi Guys,

Today my spotify artist page has officially become verified. YAY!

In the process of verification it asked me which personal profile I want to use to link with.

I supplied my user profie: theengagementmusic. I am logged onto my spotify account on webpage and program right now, I have the blue tick on my avatar pic and yet I still CANNOT access my artist page to upload discography image banner, bio and create playlists to build my fanbase.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible

When did you apply for verification? When I tried to apply, the form was down. I think there is some kind of issue and spotify is working to fix it.

I sent them an email and here is their response:

"Thank you for your patience.  We are dealing with a temporary bug but there is a team working on it around the clock so we hope to have it resolved soon."

I applied about 5 weeks ago. Ah k. So maybe I should wait a week or so and see if anything changes?

Yeah, I bet it will work once they resolve the issue. You can check at
spotifyartists.com/verification and see if the form is open. If the issue
isn't resolved I would encourage you contact them at support@spotify.com

Artist Verification is back up. I submitted mine a few days ago. Hope to see it working soon!

Yeah I've seen they have it back and running. I've submitted my Enquiry to them. Hopefully they can tell me why my bio isn't showing and why I can't upload my header banner image.

Just for your information, the reason your bio isn't showing up is because that information can be submitted through Rovi if they choose to accept you. Follow their guide at http://www.allmusic.com/product-submissions. It may take them a few months or a few days depending on a few factors such as popularity. Rovi will NOT accept self written biographies or images just containing logos. It is best if you submit your discography first, then artist image later.

Note: I'm not actually sure if it's possible to update the banner and profile image once verified with Spotify (it may be taken from Rovi)- I guess we'll have to find out.

I was mistaken when I said a verified user cannot upload a profile image. I have confirmed this. I'm still not sure about banners though.

Hi Cole,

Artist Avatars + Headers are being pulled from their Rovi/All Music page. Once a header image is live on Rovi/All Music, send your Spotify Account manager (if you have one) the direct link to the image, and they will update the header. Avatars can be updated through the Avatar Update form on spotifyartists.com/verification. Spotify Artists Support may be able to update the header too but i'm not too sure about that.

Hello! I applied to get verified months ago and keep applying again. I have over 1,000 followers and still have no been verified. Do you know what I can do to check my status. I tried emailing them and I'm pretty sure I have filled out the form correctly.
