As there seems to exist no way in getting any direct support without having to subscribe to twitter, I‘ll ask here.
Can somebody enlighten me on how spotify determines in which country the account should be based? I subscribed yesterday evening, from a desktop-computer based in Switzerland, with a swiss e-mail address. Quite logically the first music suggestions etc. were about swiss music. As I was checking my e-mails this morning on my mobile phone, I saw that I got an account confirmation e-mail at 1 AM (when I was im my bed, in Switzerland), which is in french and comes from spotify France. Now I have no problem wirh France, I do speak french fluently, but how on earth did they get the impression that this was my main language (which it isn‘t, that would be german)?
