Blocking someone

When I block someone on spotify, will their listening activity still be visible to me? I know that you can still see their profile but will their recently played artists keep updating or will the stay stuck at the artists they were listening to the day you blocked them?

When you block someone on Spotify, their listening activity will not be visible to you, and vise-versa. As for the Recently played artists, this section will continue to update properly, as long as you have access to their profile (i.e. they haven't blocked you back).
