Can't Find another Spotify user

Hi, I have my friends spotify name and entered it using the spotify:user:  method but it comes up as unknown user, as mine does when he goes thorugh the same process looking for me. What am I doing wrong? I am signed in using Spotify as I am not on facebook.

I should have added the error message is 'load user error".

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

If your Spotify username is gettyagunnz then I can verify that I can search and find your account by searching for "spotify:user:gettyagunnz" (make sure there are no spaces).

If you get a user load error, try just searching again. 

If its still not working, then you might want to try a clean reinstallation of the client.

I am searching spotify:user:sstamilio and can't find user and vice versa. Seems like several people have that issue...

@n_kane1 - there's no account on our system with the username sstamilio. Here's a link to your public profile though so feel free to have your friend Follow you that way, then you can Follow them right back.
