Can't access account forgot username and password

Can't access account forgot username and password

Hi,

My son has a spotify account which he does not remember the username or password. We now have a family account & are still being charged for the individual account. How can I cancel the account with cancelling the credit card authorisation?

Hi,

Without logging in to the player app, you can access the account details at - https://www.spotify.com/login/ 

 

Try accessing your sons account by either:

1.  Hitting 'forgot username or password' and then try all email addresses your son potentially used. If successful you should recieve an email option to reset the password, of which you can then log in. 

(If that doesn't work, there is a chance your son may have subscribed through his Facebook account.)
2. If your son has Facebook, make sure he is logged in to his account on the device you are using and then hit 'Log in with Facebook' - and it should automatically log in. 

 

Once you are signed in on the above web link, you can then manage your sons account/payment information.

 

You don't need to cancel his account, you can simply invite your sons account within your family subscription (you can add his account in the family account's setting), so playlists and activity doesn't get lost. Just login to your sons account, and cancel payment if he has a premium account.

Hi,
1. He's unsure what username was used.
2. He does not have a facebook account
3. He already has a premium account established in the family deal.
