Can’t access my account that was linked to my deleted Facebook account

 

 

My Question or Issue

 

So I’m having a real problem at the minute, I even had to make a new account just so to try and solve it!

 

My Spotify account (not this one) was linked to my Facebook. I deleted my Facebook indefinitely without really thinking about the Spotify connection. I then got my phone stolen which was automatically logged into my Spotify. I have no way of logging in as the email address that I used for my facebook no longer exists, I can’t cancel the direct debit that is being paid to Spotify through my bank, so I’m stuck paying £10 a month for absolutely nothing!!

 

i really need this problem resolved and the lack of Spotify helpline is very annoying!

Hello there!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. I'll try to help you out here.

Can you try having a password reset with the email linked to your Facebook account? You can also try using your Spotify username in the password reset. You should then be able to log in by using your email/username and your new password.

The email I used for my Facebook no longer exists and I have no idea what my Spotify username would have benn!

In that case, I’d recommend reaching out to Spotify for more help with this. You can find some more info here on how to do this. They'll be able to take a look backstage and hopefully solve this as soon as possible.
