Can't add friends

I just downloaded the spotify app from the chromestore onto my chromebook, and created an account. I went to the bottom and clicked follow and when i went to search for a user to follow it says "There are no more friends to show at this time". It keeps saying that no matter who i search for. HelP!

Hello!

There are several ways to add someone on Spotify you can search there username with this format: "spotify:user:USERNAME" in the search box. You can also search there name in the search box (the same search box you search for music in), or you can ask your friend to send you a link to there profile, or a playlist they made 🙂

Is your account connect to or do you log in with Facebook? 

For me at least on the web player I can also search for my Facebook friends by entering their real name in the search box and they appear as a search suggestion under the heading "Profiles".

Thanks Josh. This problem was frustrating me coz no matter what I did I got "There are no more friends to show at this time" and I could only add Facebook friends via the Spotify suggestions. I can now find friends by putting their Spotify name in the music search box
