Can't change e-mail address due to already in use

I have a Premium spotify account and I want to change the e-mail address, but it says that the e-mail address is already in use. I might have tried to create an additional account long ago using that e-mail adress (but I'm not sure and don't know which user name that was used). How to fix this?.
