Can´t connect to my new facebook account

Hello I have spotify nearly 3 years now. When I started my spotify account I linked it with a facebook profile which doesn´t exist anymore now. I already disconnected this profile in the settings a long time ago but I still see the friends of my old Facebook profile appearing on the spotify app. Now i tried linking my new Facebook profile but it does not work. The menu still says "connect to facebook" even though I already entered my login details.  If I try It again nothing happens.
