Can't log in to Facebook

Hi, recently I wanted to change my user name. As I found out this was impossible, I decided to log in to Facebook, but I kept getting the message it was impossible to log in after I said I didn't want Spotify to post stuff on my Facebook profile. How can I log in again?

Hey @Caro18, welcome to the community!

Due to a recent change, you now need to click the blue "Log in with Facebook" button, insteady of typing your Facebook log in details on the Spotify app. If you're not logged into your Facebook profile, a pop-up will ask you to log in, otherwise, you'll be forwarded to the Spotify account right away.

If you're getting an error message when trying to log in with Facebook, head to your Facebook profile settings, and check if Spotify is under your Apps.

When I open Spotify on my iPhone and I’m already logged in with my e-mail
account and I try to connect with Facebook, it keeps asking to give
permission to connect with Facebook. But every time I agree, I keep seeing
the blue button saying “connect with Facebook”.

No worries!

In this case, you might have an account already created via Facebook. Try logging in here by clicking the "Log in with Facebook" button to check if there's an account.

If you do find an account, you can close it to release your Facebook profile. You'll then be able to link it to the account you want.
