Can't connect Spotify to Facebook?

I click on the large blue button in the desktop client and nothing happens, the connect to facebook button has been removed from the online account management page, and whe I try on my phone it never takes, what up?

Let's try checking if your Facebook profile is already linked to a Spotify account.

If you do have an account created via Facebook, you can follow these steps to have it closed. You'll then be able to link your Facebook to a different Spotify account without any trouble.

I solved my problem. I contacted @spotifycares on twitter and told them that I had a previous facebook account linked to this Spotify account and I was unsure if I had disconnected from that facebook account before I deleted it, they were able to help me out.
