Can't reset password

I forgot my password as I was trying to set up my account on a new phone. I tried using Facebook because I remembered doing so at one point. It brought up an older free account I had. I tried reset password and it told me I had to change my Facebook password which I did but still have the old account. I just want a real password reset and soon because I don't want to get billed for something I can't use.
